Thomas A. Mason Co., Inc., expands beyond Milwaukee. In 1997 Thomas Mason relocated his family to a mountain resort area in Colorado. He soon found his company was the only union painting and flooring contractor in the area. He also found a need for skilled painters in the area. As a solution, he flew in his Milwaukee-location trades people to train his Colorado work force. After many months of training, Thomas felt confident that his Colorado division would mirror what Thomas A Mason Co has instilled in its Milwaukee firm for many years.
"Our company wide work ethic allows us to be competitive in the state of Colorado,” Mason says. "Our productivity per hour is what makes us successful in both Wisconsin and Colorado. In turn, this means we get more work done in a shorter period of time. And its quality work! If needed our Milwaukee labor provides the added manpower for larger jobs, and their efficiency offsets travel costs."
